Working collaboratively with our client we are seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.

The Opportunity:
Working collaboratively with our client we are seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. This role will be based in their Mid North Coast, NSW operations with regular travel to the Hunter Valley and Central Coast.

As a natural leader you will be experienced in overseeing the production, planning, maintenance and installation teams. Liaising closely with the CEO we are seeking someone with the ability to identify, recommend and implement improvements whilst being respectful of current processes and values. Ultimately contributing to the continued growth of the company and achievement of team wide KPI's.

The Company:
Our clients privately owned business operates throughout regional NSW in the joinery industry. Supplying a range of products to the residential building market. The company has a strong heritage that dates over 100 years and today blends cutting edge technology with traditional values to be an Australian leader within its Industry.

The factory utilises cutting edge CNC equipment from Italy, Germany and France. The entire operation is controlled by software from the US and Germany combining to create a streamlined operation that can monitor production 24/7 from any location.

Experience and Responsibilities:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an Australian construction and/or manufacturing company
  • Experienced in LEAN manufacturing methodologies and their implementation
  • Demonstrable ability to improve and build processes, practices and methodologies
  • Proven experience and ability to lead, build and support a large team from Supervisors, Team Leaders, Production team and Installation team members
  • Experienced and committed to WHS and ensuring that the companies policies and procedures are adhered to with any noncompliance being addressed in a timely manner
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Diploma in Frontline Management or similar Degree in Business or Production Management
  • Construction Industry White Card
